Heat Recovery Unit

Described as a ‘no risk’ specification, the Wolf CWL Heat Recovery Unit reduces the high level of background ventilators that are often required under traditional intermittent extract systems, which can sometimes cause a problem for installation in apartments with limited window space. The Wolf CWL heat recovery unit is a complete home ventilation system in three sizeswith extraction rates of 180m²/h, 300m²/hr and 400m²/hr suitable for two, three or four plus bedroom properties.

The CWL with heat recovery extracts the consumed air from kitchens, bathrooms and toilet. The integrated cross-counterflow heat exchanger filters the air, removes the heat it contains and exhausts to the outside. At the same time fresh air is taken in, cleaned by an air filter, heated with the cross-counterflow heat exchanger and conducted to different rooms such as the living room, bedroom and nursery etc.

Function

Three sizes with air flow rates of 180m³/h, 300m³/h and 400m³/h. Suitable for detached houses and apartment buildings as well as offices. The CWL Comfort domestic ventilation system with heat recovery extracts stale air from the kitchen, bathroom and toilet areas. This air is routed across a cross countercurrent plate-type heat exchanger, and filtered air is expelled to the outside. At the same time, fresh outside air is drawn into the system, cleaned by an air filter, heated by the cross countercurrent heat exchanger and routed into the appropriate rooms, such as the living room, bedrooms and children’s rooms.
