The most common type of Solar Collector is the Flat Plate (Glazed) Collector. Pulsar “Wolf” Solar Collectors are made up of an aluminium weather-resistant protective casing, high-density rockwool insulation, selective-coated copper piping and highly absorbent, high-strength glazing (3.2mm safety glass).
Modern Flat Plate Collectors combine the advantages of high efficiency, easy installation and durability. Advancements in performance technology mean that, per square meter of aperture area, a high quality Flat Plate Collector can rival the outputs of any competing technology.
The “Wolf Topson F3” Collectors supplied by Pulsar Direct also offer hydraulic and installation advantages. Up to five Collectors can be installed in series with the pipe connections on one side. In addition, up to ten Collectors can be installed in series when they pipe connections are made diagonally. This makes installation easier and helps to reduce component costs.
